Kitchen Timber Benchtop Extension

I think the owner of this investment property had the right idea in wanting to expand the benchtop area of the kitchen. Previously the breakfast bar was not big enough for the family to sit. This timber extension has certainly changed that. A lighter tone of Recycled Messmate timber was found to complement the floor.

Possibly my favourite little project so far. The addition of this kitchen benctop extension has totally changed the way this couple in Jan Juc use there kitchen. The timber paneling underneath hides the old melamine and creates a real focus. Love it.
